Cesare Morelli (48)

Technical director

Geologist; 18 years in exploration with De Beers mainly in West and Central Africa; four years with BHP Billiton as regional exploration manager for Africa; fluent in Italian, French and English.

Paul Nelson (37)

Chief financial officer

Chartered accountant; previously with the South African Revenue Service and then ran his own, successful auditing practice. Subsequently active in the development of various African resource ventures.

Greg Murphy(50)

Executive director

Over 25 years' international investment industry experience in Toronto, London and New York; CEO of Lakeshore Capital group of companies; former head of equity derivatives at Midland Walwyn/Merrill Lynch Canada; previously SVP equity derivatives at First Marathon and Gordon Capital.

Dr Salif Napon (51)

Chief geologist

PhD in geology; previously with Burkina Faso geological survey, exploration juniors in Burkina Faso, Anglo American Corporation in gold and base metals exploration in West Africa and copper-cobalt in DRC, and BHP Billiton in iron ore projects in Guinea and Liberia and copper exploration in DRC.

Dr Medard Mungiya Kubanza (44)

Chief geophysicist

PhD in Geophysics from University of Tohoku, Japan, 10 years in academic research and has published numerous papers. Geoscientist and seismic and electrical imaging specialist with expertise developed in mineral exploration geophysics for base metal mineralization. Worked for BHP Billiton where he successfully discovered significant copper intersections in a number of grassroots projects. Over 10 years experience in both academic research and exploration geophysics with assignments and proven abilities in Africa, Japan and Canada. Speaks French, English and Japanese.

Fiona McFarland (38)

Corporate communications

Wide ranging experience in marketing and public relations working across a portfolio of natural resource projects within Africa. Strong background in identity creation, corporate development and profile raising. Also has extensive experience in roadshow coordination and government liaison.

Annabel Redford (31)

Corporate communications and UK representative

8 years experience in public and investor relations with specific focus on the natural resources sector. Has been involved in a variety of marketing activities including work on IPO’s, M & A, investor roadshows, fundraisings and corporate profile development.
