Benzu Resources Limited (Benzu) was founded in 2009 as a mineral resource exploration and development company, focused on Africa.

Benzu’s African focus derives from:

• the team’s conviction that Africa remains a largely untapped resource of minerals required now and into the future to meet global demand;
• the team’s extensive experience in African geology, exploration acumen, diplomacy and business culture; and
• the company’s close association with a large African mineral exploration, development and mining group which has been mining in Africa for more than 40 years, with investments in projects across the continent.

Benzu prioritises:

• minerals for which there is a global base demand at all times - currently the focus is on gold, copper, iron-ore, and potash, although Benzu is also pursuing interests in a range of other commodities, including manganese, in countries across the continent; and
• opportunities that can be taken up the value curve rapidly and with a reasonable investment of capital.

Open to partnerships and joint ventures, Benzu is investigating a variety of prospects across Africa, with current interests in Tanzania, Ethiopia, the DRC, Gabon and Burkina Faso.
